You'll be scheduled for a free 15 to 20-minute phone consultation with me prior to your first appointment or prior to joining my waiting list. This enables me to answer any questions you may have and to make sure my practice is a good fit for you. During this call, you'll get a bit of a sense of what it's like to work with me. I've found this to be the best way to begin the therapeutic relationship. To request your free consultation, call (501) 441-4200 or fill out my contact page using the button below.
Many of my clients enjoy the benefits of scheduling individual intensives (half- to full-day sessions) to reach their therapy goals quickly, while others prefer a more traditional, weekly appointment schedule. I offer appointment reminders for your convenience. If you find you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please contact my office as soon as possible to avoid a late cancellation fee or missed appointment fee.
The duration of your therapy will depend on several factors (specific concerns, your goals for treatment, appointment frequency, etc.). I utilize proven therapies, which are time-limited, so you can move forward in your life with greater balance and emotional well-being.
I offer individual therapy intensives for clients who wish to address specific challenges in a shorter time frame.
I'm not contracted with insurance and I don't file insurance claims. Many of my clients actually prefer to work with me privately and not involve their insurance at all. This is because in order to use your insurance for therapy, a mental health diagnosis is required, which gets attached to your record. Insurance can also audit, requesting your client notes to review the work you're doing in therapy. I believe your therapy and what you share in session are private matters. Not taking insurance allows us the freedom to determine what your therapy looks like, how long we meet, and what we can work on during your visits. It also gives me the ability to provide you with the highest level of confidentiality.
If you choose to involve your insurance, I can provide a detailed receipt which you can send to your insurance for possible reimbursement of your therapy fees. (For example, a plan may reimburse 50% of session fees for an out-of-network provider instead of 80% for in-network services.) Many insurance plans provide out-of-network benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance company to see what out-of-network benefits you may have for therapy, if you choose to go this route. I'd be happy to answer your questions about the process.
HSA cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, and checks are accepted.
